Canis, āērem linguēns, mē juxtā sedet, quæ fēlīcitātis mysterium, ut opīnor, sibi tenet. Tōtum diem in ōtiō dēgit, tribus tantum cōnstitūtīs officiīs māximī mōmentī: edere, mingere et alvum dēonerāre (quæ ūnā officium integrum faciunt), imprīmīs dormīre. Mihi autem amīcīsque inimīcīsque dēcernī vidētur rebus longē plūs implicātīs, nempe plūs stultīs, tempus dētero: timēre, invidēre, dubitāre, dēsīderāre, īrāscī stomachārīque, æmulāre, odisse. Quōrum, nisi fallor, nullum cane mē sapientiōrī lætiōrī beātiōrī interest.

Theobromæ autem sapōre numquam fruitur, idcirco mē esse malim quam eam.
